A. It depends on your goals. Regular massage is part of a good self-care program. Some of my clients see me every week, others 2x/month, others occasionally.

Q. Where will my take place?

A. Your massage will take place in a warm, comfortable, quiet room. Soft music may be played to help you relax. You will lie on a table especially designed for your comfort.
1. What should I bring to my appointment?

If you are new to our department or have not updated your Health History or Client Bill of Rights within 1 year, you will need contact and medical info to complete these forms. Our staff will not provide a service without this information filled out correctly and completely.

2. What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing. For the massage, we ask that you undress to your comfort level and cover yourself with the sheet and blanket on the treatment table. Comfort levels may vary… some choose to leave boxers or panties on during their service, some are more modest and leave most of their clothing on during their treatment and some clients choose to wear nothing. It is all up to the client and their individual comfort.

3. Is my modesty protected during my treatment?

Yes, at all times! Your Massage Therapist will bring you to the treatment room where they will review your Health History and plans for the treatment you have chosen. The Therapist will then step out of the room and allow you to undress to your comfort level and slip beneath the sheet and blanket on the treatment table leaving only your neck/head exposed. The Therapist will give you a few minutes to do this while they thoroughly wash their hands and arms and jot down any crucial notes in your file about your session.

4. How often do I need to return for a massage?

Subsiquent visits can vary greatly by individual and what they are seeking massage for.

If someone is only interested in relaxation, once a month is pretty average. In this case it is a matter of personal preference.
